This neat little adapter converts a DIL-16 into a SIL-16

Usually it’s quite tricky to mount a (dual row) DIL 2.54mm header onto a breadboard or prototype board.
This PCB converts a dual row DIL into a SIL connector.
It’s ideal for converting DIL header spacing onto a breadboard. Or when making a circuit on a matrix or prototype board when you have a module with a DIL header.
An example of a project might be to mount an LCD having a DIL-16 (such as an 0802 LCD), or perhaps to adapt a DIL header connector to SIL for ease of soldering.
Naturally it works both ways! SIL to DIL, and DIL to SIL. And of course, you don’t need to use all 16 pins…
The pins are mapped 1⇒1 up to 16⇒16, and the two 16-pin headers are also mapped 1⇒1 up to 16⇒16 so you can access all of the 16 pins from BOTH sides of the breadboard.
And all of the pin spacings are 2.54mm (or multiples) in both directions (including between the DIL and SIL connectors) -making this PCB super-flexible!!
