This bezel was designed and is made in the UK by us, and is only available from us.
This bezel has been made for the Waveshare 1.5” OLED display, which is available elsewhere. The bezel MAY fit other similar displays but we cannot be responsible if your display does not fit in our bezel. Please check the specifications carefully below. If you are unsure of a fit, please contact us.
The front of the bezel has a nice high-gloss black finish. All other surfaces have a machined finish. This is not a moulded part. The display window is centred both vertically and horizontally.
The front face of the bezel will overlap the cut-out in your enclosure or panel – thus hiding an untidy cut-out, and the bezel also dispenses with ugly front panel mounting screws. Overall, this bezel will give your project a much more “pro” finish.
The display (not included), is fixed into the rear of the bezel and held in position with the fixing clip and screws. The bezel with is fixed into your panel or enclosure with adhesive (not included). Full instructions are included with the bezel.
If your display does not fit, we offer refunds (less the postage charges we incurred shipping to you), but only if the bezel is returned to us unused and in the condition we sent you, with the front protective film intact, and before adhesive has been applied.
Which Display will fit
Refer to the drawing below. This drawing shows the dimensions of the display PCB which will fit into the bezel. Note that Waveshare makes a range of excellent 1.5″ OLED displays, but not all of them will fit this bezel. For example, the Waveshare SKU 13992 will fit, but SKU 29053 will not. Waveshare have excellent documentation on their web site, including detailed 2D drawings.
Likewise, 3rd party displays that have identical dimensions to the Waveshare OLED display should fit but you should check with us before buying.
If your display does not fit, you can return the bezel to us for a refund (less our original postage cost to you). But the bezel must be returned in new condition, unused, and undamaged.
