Description
A serial (74HC595) LED display with a matched bezel. Available in 2 options:
- A Bezel by itself, without display
- A 74HC595 display with a matched Bezel
Both options come with 4 screws to attach the display into the rear of the bezel. The display includes a 5 pin header. The bezel will only fit a display of the same dimensions as the display we provide. It will probably not fit very well, or at all, other displays, so please check your display if you are just buying the bezel only option. See the Specifications below.
The bezel is a custom-made part, made from Perspex/acrylic. The front of the bezel has a nice smooth high-gloss black finish. All other surfaces and edges have a machined finish. This is not a moulded part, nor is it a cheap 3D printed part.
The front of the LED display is aligned with the front of the Bezel (within material tolerances), giving a clean, smooth finish.
The bezel assembly is fixed into your panel or enclosure with adhesive (not included). Full instructions are included with the bezel.
This bezel has been specifically made to fit the display provided in this item. It may not fit other displays. Note that the Bezel is not certified as moisture or dust proof.
We test all displays before dispatch, so you can buy in confidence. These Bezels are matched to the displays so you get a great-looking and tested purchase.
The bezel makes mounting these displays very simply – much easier that the complexity of screws and spacers. In addition, the bezel overlaps the front of your panel or project box by 2mm all round, thus hiding the edges of an untidy cut-out. And it dispenses with ugly mounting screws. Overall presenting a more professional finish to your project.
