Description
This is a variant of our 4-button Tactile Button Bezel. This is supplied as a kit. This is a high quality machined part – it is NOT a poor-quality 3D printed part.
The variant adds these facilities:
- You can add your own label that sits behind a clear plastic window. Print your label on a laser printer for example.
- Coloured button caps. You can choose the colours of the 4 button caps.
If you want specific button colours, please use the BUTTON COLOUR REQUEST FORM which will be shown on your Order Acknowledgement page. It is also shown in your “Order Received” email. Or you can send us an email.
The kit comprises
- 4-button Bezel
- Four 6mm tactile buttons
- Four coloured button caps. On the Order Acknowledgement, you will find a link where you can define your button cap colours (subject to stock availability)
- PCB to mount the tactile buttons with fixing screws
- Clear plastic window and a label backing block
How to use this kit
- Design and print your own label. The label sits behind a clear plastic window, and a backing support is put behind the label
- The label backing support is fixed in place with adhesive such as a sealant. Using a (non-permanent) sealant allow you to remove the label if you want to change it
- The buttons are assembled and soldered to the PCB together with a header (not supplied) or your wiring, and then that assembly is fixed to the rear of the bezel with the supplied screws.
- The bezel is held in place in your project box or panel with suitable adhesive
The bezel overlaps the front of your panel or project box, thus hiding an untidy cut-out. The bezel is fixed in position with adhesive, thus dispensing with ugly mounting screws.
We do not provide any adhesive or sealant with the kit.
