Description
This item is offered in three options:
- MCU only
- MCU with IC socket
- MCU KIT comprising key components to build an ATMEGA328P circuit.
These ATMEGA328P have an Arduino Bootloader loaded. We test 100% of these MCUs, so we know they work when we ship.
The ATMEGA328-PU KIT (option 3 above) comprises these parts:
– ATMEGA328P MCU (the 28-pin DIP variant, often referred to as the ATMEGA328P-PU)
– Arduino Bootloader (loaded on the chip)
– 1 x 28-pin narrow DIP Socket for the MCU
– 1 x 16MHz crystal oscillator
– 2 x 22pf capacitors (for the crystal circuit)
PLUS, with Option 1 you also get these additional supplementary components to make a 5V supply for your ATMEGA328P-based project
– 1 x LM7805 5V Voltage regulator
– 1 x 0.1uF electrolytic capacitor
– 1 x 0.33uF electrolytic capacitor
All of these parts require electronics knowledge of how to build a circuit and how to load an Arduino sketch or the use of other programming toolchains.
