For existing projects without one of our full 1602 LCD bezels, this FASCIA option just might be the way to tidy up the look of the project.
This fascia is designed to:
1) Hide an untidy cut-out
2) Hide the mounting screw heads (if you have used screws).
The fascia has a glossy black finish on the front.
How it works
It is really straightforward. Assuming the existing surface is suitable and there is adequate space, you simply attach the fascia around the LCD display. You can use adhesive, or use the self adhesive strips we provide with the fascia. Adhesive is likely to provide a better joint, although it might make it more tricky to remove if you need access to the mounting screws at a later date. The self adhesive strips we provide should allow you to carefully remove the fascia at a later date, if necessary.
The fascia is approximately 2mm thick, so for a flush fit to the front of the display, you might need to move the LCD forward a little.
Important notes
- This fascia requires that any screw heads are countersunk or otherwise flush with the surface of the project box or panel.
- This fascia will only fit the commonly-used 1602 display, using the stated dimensions below.
- Please check the dimensions of this fascia (below) to make sure it will fit your project.
