This listing has a number of options:
- A 0.49″ OLED Display only (no bezel)
- A 0.49″ OLED Display with a matched round bezel
- A 0.49″ OLED Display with a matched square bezel
Note that we TEST ALL DISPLAYS before dispatch so we know they work. And the displays are matched to the bezel if you buy that option.
The display is tiny at only 0.49″ with a resolution of 64×32. But it is also extremely useful and actually a very nice display!
It uses an SSD1306 driver just like most larger OLEDs. And it’s I2C interface makes it easy to use for Arduino, Pi or other electronic projects.
These 0.49″ displays have no mounting points whatsoever, so we have designed the bezels to provide a way to mount this terrific display. And the bezel doesn’t use any screws so your project looks more “pro”.
But being so tiny, we have also made our bezels to be the smallest practical size.
The display fits into the specifically-designed cavity on the rear of the bezel, and then glued into position on the rear of the bezel using epoxy or silicon. The bezel is glued into the panel or project box using a suitable glue (a gel-type superglue is often the easiest).
Because these displays are so small, it can be a bit fiddly and care is needed when mounting them into the bezel. But the results are very pro-looking.

The bezels stand proud of the panel or project box and overlaps your cut-out by approx 2mm all round. So, these bezels hide the inevitable untidy cut-out!
