Description

USB chassis panel mount connector kits. USB with Bezel kit, or USB with spacers kit

This item offers a professional touch to your Arduino or other electronics project.

This item allows you to make a good-looking USB connection to your Arduino, Raspberry Pi or other electronics project. It is primarily intended to easily facilitate a 5V

power connection (for your project) using a USB power supply and USB-mini cable. However, all 5 pins of the USB-Mini socket are available so you are able to utilise

the full-function of the USB connection in your project.

This item is available in two different kits, which you must assemble and solder to suit the needs of your project.

KIT 1 (Spacer kit) comprises:

  • USB-Mini connector
  • Custom PCB
  • A set of spacers. These spacer are used singly or stacked so that you can achieve the best spacing to suit the thickness of your panel or project box.
  • Screws and nuts

KIT 2 (Bezel kit) comprises:

  • A glossy black Bezel made from Perspex acrylic. Overall size of visible Bezel face: 25mm x 13mm
  • USB-Mini connector
  • Custom PCB
  • Screws

The bezel is NOT a cheap 3D print. it is a high-quality glossy acrylic bezel.

The bezel kit is intended to fit into your project box or panel using suitable adhesive (not included). No visible screws are required which further enhances the look of

the project.

The spacer kit uses the two screw provides to mount the PCB and spacers to the project. Two mounting screw holes are required. Full instructions are included with

both kits

For use only with 5V USB power and USB signals. Only use this item for a voltage level up to 5V.

As a general guide, the product should handle 1A to 1.4A (amps). You must determine the maximum current based on your project specifications (temperature,

ventilation, position, environment, etc) for the PCB tracks as specified above. Note that all USB connectors have power limitations.
