Description
These kits allow you to mount PCB tactile switches (6mm x 6mm) to your project box or panel, to give a professional finish, and to add more flexibility to your projects. These kits are designed to use standard 6mm Tactile Switch Buttons . The kits gives a switch gap of up to 4.5mm for the button body – the body height of commonly available buttons being around 3.2mm.
We now supply buttons FREE (8mm buttons). But you may use whatever height buttons actuators you wish – so that you can configure recessed, flush or protruding button heads. And, you may mix and match the button actuator heights, to suit your project needs.
The kits with the Bezel are mounted into the panel or project box (and hides an untidy cut-out!). The kits with the stand-offs are mounted behind the panel or project box.
There are 4 different kits available in this listing (each containing the parts for 1 (ONE) kit):
- A Bezel with a PCB to mount 4 tactile switches
- A Bezel with a PCB to mount 2 tactile switches
- A PCB to mount 4 tactile switches with stand-offs
- A PCB to mount 2 tactile switches with stand-offs
Each kit comes with screws and instructions and FREE 8mm buttons (which are a great height for the bezels and typical project box wall thicknesses).
You need to assemble and solder these kits. Full instructions are included.
