Waveshare 1.5inch OLED Module
This Waveshare 1.5inch RGB OLED Display Module has a resolution of 128x128 Pixels, with 16-bit Colors, and an SPI Interface with Embedded Controller.
We make this bezel for this display, and although it is an excellent display, we thought it was a just a little more fiddly to program than other displays. Having said that, we only built sufficuent code to test the display in our bezel, so we didn't drive it very hard.
Overall we think it's an excellent display with good support.

Arduino Nano (V3) with CH340 (compatible board)
This is the Arduino we use the most!
This Arduino Nano (V3 board) has an 16Mhz ATMEGA328P chip with the Arduino Bootloader, Mini USB, and comes with the CH340 USB Driver ship.
Note that the CH340 is the chip that interfaces the onboard USB port with the CPU. The Arduino "standard" USB controller chip is the FTDI/FT232RL chip (instead of the CH340). We find that the FTDI boards are more expensive than the CH340 boards.
However, the CH340 board will usually need an additional driver on your PC, whereas the FTDI board will not.

DS3231 Precision Real Time Clock (RTC)
A common way to read date and time is to use a DS1304 RTC. But they can drift quite a bit (especially with temperature changes). For more precise real time control, use a DS3231. It has a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator for higher accuracy.

Solid State Relay Module
Interface your project to the real world. This 5V solid state relays will switch 240V 2A.
Don't mess about with mains voltages if you don't know what you are doing though! - 240v mains is hazardous. You can use this with lower voltages too.
